Appeals Process / Proses Banding

Authors who disagree with an editorial decision may submit an appeal.

Penulis yang tidak setuju dengan keputusan editorial dapat mengajukan banding.

Grounds for Appeal / Dasar Banding

Appeals will be considered only if:

Banding akan dipertimbangkan hanya jika:

  • There is evidence of procedural error in the review process / Ada bukti kesalahan prosedural dalam proses review
  • Reviewer comments contain factual errors / Komentar reviewer mengandung kesalahan faktual
  • New evidence significantly strengthens the manuscript / Bukti baru secara signifikan memperkuat naskah

Note: Simple disagreement with the decision is not grounds for appeal.

How to Appeal / Cara Mengajukan Banding

  1. Submit appeal within 30 days of decision / Ajukan banding dalam 30 hari setelah keputusan
  2. Email: imlainstituteorg@gmail.com with subject "Appeal: [Manuscript ID]"
  3. Include:
    • Manuscript ID and title / ID dan judul naskah
    • Specific grounds for appeal / Dasar spesifik untuk banding
    • Point-by-point response to reviewer comments / Respons poin-per-poin terhadap komentar reviewer
    • Any new supporting evidence / Bukti pendukung baru (jika ada)

Appeal Review / Review Banding

  • Appeals reviewed by Editor-in-Chief / Banding direview oleh Pemimpin Redaksi
  • May involve additional reviewers / Dapat melibatkan reviewer tambahan
  • Decision within 4 weeks / Keputusan dalam 4 minggu
  • Decision is final / Keputusan bersifat final

How to Submit a Complaint / Cara Mengajukan Keluhan

Acknowledgment / Konfirmasi penerimaan Within 5 working days / Dalam 5 hari kerja
Investigation / Investigasi 2-4 weeks / 2-4 minggu
Resolution / Resolusi Within 6 weeks / Dalam 6 minggu

If you are not satisfied with the resolution:
